We’ve been talking about loafers the past few days; and today, I’m showing you another interesting pair of loafer design.

This is indeed a loafer; however, as you can see, it’s also a type of slingback shoes. Looks odd? Well I think it’s chic and it’s definitely a modern update to classic loafer designs.

This is actually believed to be a revamped version of the classic so as to make this work perfectly for the warm weather of summer. Now isn’t that a smart move? Rachel Comey’s designs are indeed very unique. Most of her creations show a combination of classic and modern, and these loafer slingbacks are obviously one of those.

These are made of calfskin material, and as you can see, it shows a combination of three classic colors to give it more style. This is dominantly done in caramel color and black is present on the cap toe while cream is on the band across the vamp.

Aside from its unique design, of course, this also has padded footbed to ensure comfort from 9 to 5.
